Desk Charger

Desk Charger

Without a doubt, this is the best accessory that should be on everyone’s list. It is number one on mine, and for good reason. It is so multifunctional, I think it has a “Kitchen Sink Clause” in there somewhere… Not only does it do the usual charging, it shows the weather, works as an alarm clock, displays photos and video, plays music and syncs to any PC with the included USB cable. It’ sleek and stylish design is great for home, office, or anywhere else you can think to show it off. It goes for about $29 anywhere you can buy accessories for your Motorola Droid phone.

#2-The Blue Vision II by Mr. Hands Free

Mr. Handsfree Blue Vision II

Mr. Handsfree Blue Vision II

Honestly, I was looking at a Vehicle Mount Kit with a Universal Holder as number 2, but with the versatility of the Blue Vision II, it gives you the best of all worlds, it clearly beat the universal out. Not only is it mountable is two places, on the visor out of the way and on the dash, for those who want to see their beauty of a phone and use the GPS, but it comes with a remote control that stores up to 10 direct numbers, can dial and redial, answer and reject calls too. You can connect it to two different devices at the same time. It has at very least, 24 hours of talk time, and you can talk and listen at the same time through with the help of Digital Sound Processing, or DSP. This also functions to cancel out echos and background noise. So, you can see why it beat out the universal car kit. It has all the features of the kit, with a ton of extras that come in a smaller, prettier package. This great accessory runs about $129 and can be found anywhere accessories for Droid are sold.

#3-Motorola Micro USB High Performance Car Charger for Droid

Motorola Car Charger

Motorols Car Charger

The one thing the Blue Vision II lacks, a car charger. But no worries because third on the list is the micro USB car charger. It has a durable extendable reach coiled cord and a lighted glow to confirm the charge connection. It is a quick charger with preformance power. The USB car charger can be found anywhere accessories for Droid are sold for about $14-$16.

#4-The BlackBerry Stereo Headset With Noise Isolating Car Gels (3.5mm) For Droid

BlackBerry for Doris Headset

That’s right, a BlackBerry accessory for the Droid. But if the shoe fits… Anyway, this is a great little headset that cuts out any ans all background noise, so you can hear only what you want when you want to hear it. It also has a control button to pause and play music and adjust volume of calls and also comes with a couple of extra gels. It is compatible with most 3.5mm jacks and can be found anywhere accessories for Droid are sold for about $15-$17.

5 Top of the Line Sony Ericsson Satio (Idou) Accesories

List Time Again-This Time For Sony

What’s Sony Ericsson’s Satio All About?
This is a beautiful Smartphone. And I figure because it is the highest rated Smartphone on Youserbase.org, I simply must write about the best accessories for it this week.
1.large
But First-A Look At What’s Under the Hood
Like I said above, this is a beautiful phone and the original review was posted back in August of this year. It is one of the few that have a 12.1 megapixel camera that takes pictures so well that they look almost professional. Then it has the usual 3G and WiFi capabilities and BlueTooth. It does have it’s downfalls, though. The touchscreen is (arrrggghhh) resistive, so it requires some major touching and if you aren’t careful them your finger could get sore. But it IS 3.5″ with a ratio of 16:9 with 640×360 resolution, so it looks pretty and you can see what you are doing. It only has 128MB Internal memory but Sony kind of makes up for it by including an 8G MicroSD and the option to add up to 32GB. it also lacks a 3.5mm jack, so um.. guess you won’t be ignoring anyone on the sly anytime soon.. And now, on with the list!

Car Accessory Pack
Comes with a holder, which attaches with a suction cup mount and has a flexible neck so you can adjust it to have it within reach but still out of your way. It also comes with a battery car charger, an official Sony Ericsson CLA-60 and it actually helps hold the Satio in place and it can charge while it’s being held.

BlueTooth Car Kit
By Venturi, this mini FM transmitter and BlueTooth technology combines brings you all your calls through your car speakers. Plug it into the car charger and go. It also has on teh receiver, caller ID and song information too.

Invisible SHIELD
A clear plastic film that covers both the front and the back, without being a full case. It takes longer to install than usual screen protectors, but then again, this isn’t a normal screen protector, is it? This is great because you are apt to take your phone everywhere with you get into situations where it might get scratched, or maybe your kids get a hold of it and smudge the pretty little thing up. Not anymore with the Sony Ericsson Satio InvisibleSHIELD.

BlueTooth Headphones
The HBH-IS800 BlueTooth Headphones for Satio look small and feel small, but the battery power they pack is unbelievable! And the features are great too. You can answer and end calls and pause and play your music. All on the Headphones themselves.

ITC-60-Plug N’ Play
Well, for those who want to take advantage of the 12 megapixel camera the Satio is famous for, the Plug N’ Play connects the Satio to your TV or stereo to look at pics or listen to music.

CPP 100 Power Pack
This Power Pack for the Satio plugs right into its side with no cables or wires tripping you up or getting in the way. It gives instant power when and where you need it. it also has a handy LED light so you can monitor the battery life.

And the Verdict Is?
To be honest with you, these items are all great. But I would hold off until teh Platinum or Executive Accessories Packs are available. They will have so many great accessories all in one and they will save you so much money, rather then if you bought the, piece by piece. Here’s a taste of what will be in the Platinum, pack:

  • Desk Stand with cable clips
  • Car holder with the suction mount
  • The Flexible Neck
  • Carrying Pouch- Felt, padded and carries horizontially
  • Car Charger
  • Laser Screen Protector
  • The USB Mini Bluetooth Dongle
  • USB Card Reader
  • spare battery

The Executive Pack won’t have quite as many accessories included, but it will be worth it as well. Either one you choose, you are saving money and gaining the convenience of having everything together in one place.

Enjoy the Sony Ericsson Satio and all its accessories in all their glory, it is probably one of the best ones out there, aside for the Droid, that is…

It’s List Time Again-Cream of the Crop Top Accessores for the iPhone

Just In Time for the Holiday’s
There are literally hundreds of accessories available for the iPhone so it can be hard to choose the best ones. Especially if the person you are shopping for already has almost everything. And reading through all the lists on the Internet get get real confusing too. Everyone has their own list of Top 10 accessories, and all of the are drastically different. But, there are a few items that stand out above the rest. The top of the line, cream of the crop accessories for the iPhone.

So Here’s What I Did
I went through all the lists. Yes, I did say all of them. An believe me when I say there were probably close to 100. I reviewed the products and made my own list of the top iPhone accessories based on how many times the particular accessory showed up on all the lists.

Number One-The Top iPhone Accessory
Out of all of the literally hundreds of accessories, the Altec Lansing T612 comes in at number one because it showed up 8 times. There are cheaper iPhone docks, but apparently this one is worth its price. Running from $116-$189, it has excellent quality audio and it allows you to answer calls even while the iPhone is docked.

Coming in Second…
Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones. No, they are not cheap but they appeared at the top of all the lists 6 times. And apparently they have great audio quality in HD and are battery powered. Oh, yeah.. They are made by Dr. Dre too…

Number Three
The Aliph Jawbone Prine Bluetooth Headset. This one ahowed up on the top of the lists 5 times. t looks great, has excellant audio quality comes ina huge choice of colors and has noise reduction built in. But it’s downfall s he price tag. It costs about $99 new. Apparently it’s worth it.

Number Four
Coming in fourth being on the lists 4 times-fitting isn’t it? is the Mophie Juice Pack Air at $79. This is a great hard case that just clips on to the iPhone and has a built in polymer power pack to boot battery life on the go. Comes in three colors, Black, White and Purple.

Number Five
The Belkin Armband at $9-$14. This one was on the list 3 times, and the last one to be on a list at the top more than once. It is comfortable to wear, gives you full access t the screen, volume, and even the headphone connection. It keeps the iPhone safe and secure and never out of reach.

And The Verdict Is?
Well, with the holiday’s coming, it is a great time to start looking for these accessories. With the price of the iPhone itself starting to come down and with the rumor spreading saying that it is about to drop to $99, the accessories are sure to come down a bit as well. They are going to have to because who wants to buy an accessory that costs more than the phone itself? i know I don’t-

Palm Pre Accessories-A List of THE Best of the Best

Just In Time For the Holiday’s

As I promised, a list of the best of the best accessories for the Palm Pre. And just in time for the holiday’s too. With them right around the corner, it’s just about time to start thinking about what to get the person with the Pre.

#1-Touchstone
On my list is unanimous all around. It’s on every other lists in varying orders, and made it to the top of mine because it is the ONLY one to make it to all the others. Is it no surprise that the Touchstone is the number 1 accessory? I didn’t think so. EWireless charging that can go almost anywhere. This is the sccessory that has accessories too. There are different packages available like the Dual Location kit, the Car Kit, and teh Complete kit that comes with a wall charger too. Prices range from $19.99 for a new back plate to $109.95 for the largest kit that comes with everything included-The accessory with accessories!

#2-Vehicle Charger
This accessory made it to all of the above mentioned lists except one. And I understand why. The vehicle charger is a must because the Battery itself doesn’t hold very long. So you don’t want to get stuck, right? The Palm Car Charger for the Pre is a great one because not only does it charge quickly, even while using the phone, and it looks good. Prices range from $12095 to $19.95.

#3-Bluetooth Headset
Wireless hands free talking is a must these days and with stricter laws being passed everywhere, this is number 3 on the list. But the “best” one is up to you, the user. I can tell you the best selling one, but the best Bluetooth depends on what you need to get out of teh experience of using it. So then the best selling Bluetooth headsets, according to Palm Pre itself, are the Star Treck UFO, Planatronics Discovery 975, BlueAnt V1 Voice Controlled, Scala 700 and the Samsung WEP 200. Take your pick, any of them are good. Prices range from $34.05 to $119.95.

#4-Seidio Innocell Extended Battery
Yes, the Seidio Innocell 1350mAh Extended Battery for Palm Pre is on the list for obvious reasons. Even if it extends the lifeof teh battery for only an hour, it is still worth it. We can all use a little more juice sometimes. Price ranges from$40 to $50.

#5-A Protector Case
Again, this is one that is based on personal preference. It all depends what you want out of it. There are some that snap on the whole outside, some are made of leather, and some only protect the screen. The best selling ones, again according to Palm Pre, are Body Glove Faux Nylon Snap-on, Seidio Innocase Surface and their Holster too, Palm Leather Side Case along with many others. Me? I would just opt for a screen protector. Case prices range all over the map. From $9.95 to $39.95, depending on the style.

Where to Purchase?
Well, of course you can find all fo these accessories and more on teh Palm Pre Website. You can also find them in Best Buy. Also there are two other accessories online stores I like too. Boxwave.com and AccessoryGeeks.com. Happy Shopping!
