What a relief: Finally, after many different approaches from smaller companies, the first big player is taking the biggest drama to an end. Youtube seems to stop supporting the IE 6. Best news in a while.
What is even more interesting: Digg.com has found out that the still remaining visitors using an IE6 are much less productive than others:
Based on the amount of activity and the relative rate of its decline, we’re likely to stop supporting IE6 for logged in activity like digging, burying, and commenting. Users of IE6 would still be able to view pages — just not logged in.

7-12% of my websites visitors use Ie 6 which is kind of worrying, since I know that my website doesn’t work on Ie 6.
IE 6 belongs to the stone age of the web – the days of geocities and altavista! Its ridiculous to still use it.
